"Vanished in the Night" is a romantic suspense novel. Though a part of a series, it worked as a standalone. The book is short, so things happened very fast. The hero and heroine fell in love practically as soon as they met for the first time. There were only a few attacks on the heroine before the ending suspense sequence happened. There weren't very many suspects. It was more about figuring out who was doing what and where to find them.

I liked the main characters. The heroine picked her battles

    Very good

This is a wonderful romantic suspense novel. I simply loved the story and the characters are marvelous. I can't wait to read the rest in this series.

Vanished in the Night by Lynette Eason is a book in the Wrangler’s Corner series. I am a huge fan of Lynnette’s and this book did not disappoint. The opening scene captures your attention and breath as Kaylee, a very pregnant woman, is being abducted. Joshua happens upon the attempted abduction. She was on her way to the hospital to have her baby. Joshua is a doctor and tries to convince her they are not going to make it to the hospital.

She has the baby—- I won’t spoil it for you as to whether s

I really enjoy Ms. Eason's writing. Each book she writes hooks me into the storyline quickly and does not fail to keep me interested until the final page! I enjoy the highly honorable heroes that she writes about and the brave heroines that create happily ever after endings right beside their men. This book did not disappoint. Can't wait to read her next book, whoever she chooses to write about!

Reader Beware: Don't let your guard down for a minute! 'It ain't over 'til it's over' definitely applies to this gripping, eye-ball tripping, hold-your-breath-until-your-turn-blue romantic suspense. Phew! I have reader whiplash!

What a crazy unique way for Kaylee and Joshua to meet! I don't think I've read anything quite like it. The frantic energy just leaps off the page...and doesn't let up. Eason expertly draws the tension chapter after chapter. If I wasn't on edge over the creepy stalker angl

This is a terrific story, but I have one suggestion to make. The editor needs to work with the author on "showing" and not "telling". Vanished in the Night was one of those stories where I continually wanted to see what would happen next, but it needed to be brushed up a little to make it really sparkle. I had no sense of danger when a gun was pulled, felt no fear when the character was in labor in a treacherous situation, but I should have! The chemistry was solid between the two characters and ...more
