Black Crown (Darkest Drae #3) Reviews
The final book in the series and it was so, so, so good. Such an amazing read and it had all that I was looking for in this finale plus more. Ryn is definitely one of my favourite characters. I just love her humour and her strength and her fight but I also love that she has a heart of gold deep down. We got to see a lot more of Ryn and Tyrrik together in this book and that made me so happy. The dynamics of them together are really well done and Tyrrik, well he really has cemented himself in one ...more
A satisfying end to a great series. There wasn’t quite as much humor in this book as book two, but Ryn and Tyrrick are one of my favorite couples. There’s a lot of action in this book, and I’m sad to see that it’s the end of this series.
PS - where’s my scene where Ryn sees Tyrrick’s horde??? Can I get an outtake of that pretty please???
An epic conclusion to what was quite the epic adventure that went from horribly dark to oddly endearing and quirky. I thought it might have ended a little too neatly for my tastes, though. It's just... when there's so much at stake then the sacrifice means more by the end of the book and I felt like Black Crown robbed me of real emotional trauma.
Over all I didn't have too many issues with the book other than the pacing and naming conventions for these Drae. Eh.
But I can't deny I'm happy to see ...more

I like a good YA but this series got overly obnoxious after a while.
Overall Rating: 4
Heroine: The most powerful dragon and queen of potatoes of all time
Dude: Can I “play cards” with him? Please?! ;)
Steaminess: We volunteer for The Question Game!
Brutality: Open heart surgery by talons
This series is one the most pleasant surprises I’ve gotten from Kindle Unlimited. Though, with Kelly St. Clare and Raye Wagner involved I shouldn’t be surprised! <3 Black Crown finally gives us everything we needed, the steam we all wanted and more funny scenes with treasure obse ...more
