Lone Witness (Atlanta Justice #2) Reviews
I enjoyed this novel of legal procedure. It was slow paced and definitely character driven. The main character, Sophie, is a prosecutor with the county district attorney's office in the Atlanta area. She's just begun working in the white collar crime unit and has a big case involving possible fraud by a bank employee. On her way home late one evening, she stops at a convenience store and witnesses a double murder. The plot concentrates on how Sophie does as a witness in one case and as a prosecu ...more

Sophia loves her job, but it seems she ended up in the wrong place and the wrong time or maybe the right time. Now it seems someone has it in for her. Cooper enjoys protecting those who need it, but when he gets a call to protect someone he knows this now just got personal and he needs to keep everything professional he just needs to convince Sophia that nothing more can come of this. Can they get to the bottom of the truth before it's to late?

3.5 stars. Lone Witness is the second book in the Atlanta Justice series. Lone Witness is inspirational suspense meets legal drama, and features two cases that become deadly and one woman who dares to stand and fight for justice.
Sophie Dawson is devoted to finding justice for those who can’t fight for themselves, and a recent career move into white-collar crime as a prosecutor gives her the opportunity to do just that. But a late-night snack stop turns into a nightmare when she witnesses the mur ...more
Being released May 1st. This is the second book in the Atlanta Justice Series—
So many twists and turns you won’t be able to put it down.
Prosecutor Sophie Dawson of the White Collar division takes her first big case against a local bank.
It’s mostly directed at one of there employees. But soon becomes much more.
When out of the blue something unexpected happens and it throws her life into a tailspin.
She is now the Lone Witness in a shooting, and double domicide. She’s playing both sides now.
We have a female John Grisham in the house, who pulls us into the world of the Atlanta halls of justice.
She gives power packed, hard hitting suspense, that blew my socks off.
I loved this well crafted novel with it's engaging characters and highly recommend it to all who love legal romantic suspense.
