Talking to other people isn't Kate Bailey's favorite activity. She'd much rather be out on the lake, soaking up the solitude and sunshine. So when her best friend, Alana, convinces Kate to join their high school's podcast, Kate is not expecting to be chosen as the host. Now she'll have to answer calls and give advice on the air? Impossible. But to Kate's surprise, she turns out to be pretty good at the hosting gig. Then the podcast gets in a call from an anonymous guy, asking for advice about his unnamed crush. Kate is pretty sure that the caller is gorgeous Diego Martinez, and even surer that the girl in question is Alana. Kate is excited for her friend ... until Kate herself starts to develop feelings for Diego. Suddenly, Kate finds that while doling out wisdom to others may be easy, asking for help is tougher than it looks, and following your own advice is even harder.Kasie West's adorable story of secrets, love, and friendship is sure to win over hearts everywhere....

Listen to Your Heart Reviews
I always feels soft and in such a great mood after reading a Kasie West book. I expected high things for this book and it didn't disappoint.
This is as soft and as cute as her other novels and it reminded me of Radio Rebel, the Disney channel movie if you renember it?
The book was a very slow burn romance as you can expect with Kasie but I found it so entreating and engaging.
Kate was a good character, I usually don't care about protagonist in contemporaries but Kate really had a personality and sh ...more
Cute and addictive as always with Kasie West. Reminded me slightly of The One That I Want by Jennifer Echols. Lack of communication between crushes. The main character even talks about how most problems stem from lack of communication!!! It got a bit too love triangley/squarey for me but still a great read.
OK this is actually super duper cute! I wasn’t sure how I was feeling about it in the beginning, but the more I read, the more I liked the concept and the characters. Also, it has one of my fav love interests by West <3
Here are some of my thoughts:
• I enjoy Kate’s sarcasm and her love for her lake. I would have liked to see more scenes with her in the lake to really hit home how much she loves it. For that matter, I would have liked to see an actual scene of the cover being in the book becaus ...more
This was cute and I enjoyed it more than the last couple of Kasie West novels. This was more of an end-of-summer story, but hey, there's a lake in it, so yeah. I appreciated the support system that surrounded the MC, especially there towards the end, and how despite how messy things got, it was still pretty low drama. I still maintain that I've probably outgrown young YA like this author's books, but I would absolutely love if my daughter wanted all my copies of her work. West's novels are adora ...more
Cute, light-hearted, and exactly what I expected when picking up this Kasie West story!
Though I'm not gonna lie, there were parts of the plot that had me guessing, and since I usually pick up on exactly what West has in mind for the plot from the first couple chapters, I was left a bit thrown off by some of the weird turns it took. But it kind of worked out well, because after all, high school can get messy, and so can relationships with your family and your friends.
I always look forward to new books by Kasie West. They just make me happy and Listen to Your Heart was no exception.
I liked all the characters in this. I found Kate funny and relatable. I loved her and Alana's friendship. I liked Kate's relationship with her family, especially her cousin Liza. Her home situation was a little unusual and I wish it would have been a little more explored than it was, though. I felt like there was a lot of potential there that wasn't really explored, but I did like ...more
