Paper Girls, Vol. 4 (Paper Girls #4) Reviews
I hate having to wait for issues...this is easily one of my fav comics! I can't wait for more!
Finally! Some! Explanations!
So, I have to admit, time travel is really not my thing. What initially hooked me on this series was the badass artwork. The colors are so vibrant and it’s all just really beautiful. Love the pop culture references, too. Plus, if you’re my age or older, you probably had Erin’s fabulously 80s bangs and crimped hair. 🙋🏼♀
I already preordered volume 5 (once 😜)! ...more
This series keeps getting better the more they expand the universe, literally as they jump through time. This volume centers on the 1/1/2000 and the effects of the Y2K bug, which are actually caused by a battle in the time war. Or something. Did I mention the giant robots? The girls are back!
I love the time travel and the Y2K storyline. It has some funny Y2K headline news quotes from 1999. If you're old enough to remember the fear back then, you'll get a kick out of the quotes. I don’t ruin it for anyone who’s planning to read this, but here’s a quote that’s more recent.
