The Longest Silence (Shades of Death #4) Reviews
Anthony LeDoux is a familiar character to those who have been following Debra Webb’s ‘Shades of Death’ series. Here, he’s a pale and rather pathetic version of his uptight self in the previous 3 books—a jobless alcoholic after the breakdown of his marriage and an emblem, so to speak, of an FBI hero who, because of his hubris, has fallen far and in sore need of redemption. For me this book had a different pace than the other books in The Shades of Death series. Also while Nick & Bobbi made a brief appearance, this book featured Tony LeDoux.
This Special Agent paid a very high price for his obsession with a serial killer, and because of it he lost so very much.
As usual, great plot with twists I never saw coming. I wasn't to sure about Jo but by the end I was all in and cheering for her as well as Tony.

The Longest Silence by Debra Webb is a suspenseful and surprisingly redemptive addition to the Shades of Death series. Although this latest release is the fourth in the series it can be read as a standalone although I recommend the previous installments as well.

Thank you Debra Webb for the ARC of The Longest Silence that I read and reviewed.
The fourth book for the Shades of Death book was a great way to end the series. I loved Tony LaDoux story and Joanna Guthrie who was matched up with him in this book.
This book has so many twist and turns I could not put it down because I did not want to miss a second of what was going on with Tony and Joanna and their search for Tony's niece and what really happened to Joanna eighteen years ago. This was one of Webb ...more
