Book one features character Morgan Dane, an attorney who is about to take a dream job with the DA's office. This was quite good, kept my interest. Moved along at a good pace. I expect I will want to read more in this series about a military-widow and mother of 3 young girls who is presently working in the legal arena and lives with her elderly father-in-law and her girls. Started off really strong. The ending kind of came out of no where to me. Just kinda wrapped up all of a sudden. Four stars for the first half and three for the last half. 3.5 total
