Looking only to stop for a few nights and have a good time, Julian never expected to stumble across someone like Quinn. Determined to keep her free from the vampires looking to use her as a weapon, Julian is stunned to discover himself starting to care for the mysterious woman with a dark past shes unwilling to reveal. It doesnt take him long to realize that the vampires after her are only a part of the problem. Written under my other pen name of Erica Stevens this is the first book in The Fire & Ice Series. It is a spinoff of my Kindred Series, but can be read as a standalone series and is more mature than The Kindred Series. Recommended for 17+

I've found this one on Amazon as a freebie and since it had good ratings on GR and is also a spinoff from The Fire and Ice series (which I liked) I thought why not give it a try.

I have to say that the story surprised me, since most freebies aren't that good but this one thankfully is. This is more YA than NA, so that means no sex scenes. That would normally bother me but not this time. This author knows how to fill in that empty space with great story plot and character personalities. I liked t

I absolutely love Julian. We first meet him in The Kindred Series, and we initially dislike him, but he grows on you before the end of that series. Erica Stevens finally decided to give him his own story and man did she deliver. This is a super fabulous read and I highly recommend it.

    Love it

I love this book! I have read so very many books about vampires, and most of those have a rather predictable type of vampire. I really enjoyed Quinn and her backstory and secret, and the way she interacted with Julian and his group. I have already purchased the next book in the series and can't wait to finish it and see wh

For six lonely years Quinn has thought only of revenge against the mysterious vampire who murdered her family. She remembers the blood, the pain and also her rebirth as one of the undead herself. She usually moves around but has recently settled in a small bar in the desert and yes maybe she’s started to feel that she belongs.
